The curecoin client ( just like bitcoin does ) will connect to IRC channels in order to exchange information about where it can find more curecoin clients to connect to creating the decentralized network. Sometimes it will hit IP addresses that are flagged by some windows antivirus. Only an IP address is being exchanged with other curecoin clients.  Windows EXE files and others are compiled from source by the curecoin team, so as long as you get your downloads from the official curecoin github the files will be safe, but might throw a false positive. False positives happen due to the mining code sections of coin clients being put into malware that mines on unknowing computers.  As with all things, use common sense with your security and do be cautious.
